Moderators For Off Topic

I think some moderators should be appointed for the OFF Topic forum since we are getting more spam which is mostly occurring in this forum......Im not saying i should cause i dont know a thing bout forum moderation crap lol just bringing this up so it can be addressed.

really pretty easy once u got a rules post to go by.
i think gobbly needs some more manpower on these forums.

I honestly don't see the urge of getting a moderator for this specific section. The spamming isn't that big of a problem so far...

It's comes and goes. Also since gobbly is in UK he can't get to it when we're still up and it's 11 in UK, so it might be a good idea to have moderators in both countries. I think some mods right now are US.

I think a little moderation of spam would be nice, the posts about kinky naked girls are not cool.

Hello guys, I'm sorry about the late answer. I've been out of the country for a while and I couldn't act towards these spambots.

I agree with you that we definitely need to look closer into a solution to the spambots in the off-topic section. I'm not sure about the exact solution just yet but of course additional help would be great for us since we are kind of undermanned in the moderating section. Especially since the site and members are growing steadily. It would be awesome if we could use all our time to pay attention to the site but as you probably understand we have busy lives outside of this virtual Huxley fan-world.

I'll let you know what's going to happen.

Thanks for the offers but right now the modorator situation is ok and we have some on standby for any major changes, we just pick out people who seem to get on well with others and don't cause too many problems and them we send them a PM to offer them a place on the forum as a modorator.

Am gonna close this now because it does not seem to be very constructive anymore.
