alternix avenger

just thinking wouldn't being an alternix make you stealthy and being avenger give you a medium-range? So don't' you think combining the two together make a very good combination in battle?

Well i can't say stealthy, more as in, unnoticed because they are not so big etc. My personal choice would go to a Alternix Phantom.
I can imagine your thoughts but untill there comes some new info about it we don't know any racial abilities what-so-ever.

shneb: I'm with you that without specifics I can't say exactly what I will be; however with the information on hand I would go with an Alternix Avenger. I would hope to get the speed benefits of being a Nix but be able to use the medium weapons and armor of an Avenger.

I've read that there will be something similar to racial abilities, but they'll be unlocked as you progress in the game.

Alternix as well as Alterreaver avengers would probably be good because Alternix have the speed advantage and Alterreaver have the larger health advantage. Plus they showed an Alternix avenger in one of the trailers.

I really hope that you can make multiple characters on a server because I love to exparament, or just try something new...

The only reason they wouldn't allow multiple characters on one server would be to avoid "twinking" which is suiting out your low level character with higher level things purchased or found by a high level character.

I reckon that you should be able to have more than one account but you cant trade items over to them.having more accounts will allow you all to experiment until you found the right one but but choose a race and class which suit your fighting stile.

u can probably hve 1 account and something like wow were u could have like 5 characters or sumthing like MU online were u have 1 acccount and u can switch yur character around each of the mini severs around the main server

Yeah, through all the released info on the game, one could assume that an Alternix Avenger is probably your balanced race/ class decision. A low health, high speed race with medium defense, medium ranged weaponry and dealing a decent amount of damage.

I'd imagine a simple statistic layout to look something like this:

ehh,we can only say so,dureing open beta. I am gonn atry myself. I know some here are doing open beta so lets us all know what happens and how this effects that,and such.

Basically if it is just an all around charecter, you'll be decent at everything, but not good at one area, so it's basically your stepping stone charecter. I dissagree with the stats, I'm gonna guess that the armor would be about the same as the health. It can't be higher than a close combat or less than a long range person. I have a sneaking suspision that this will be one of the highest population of charecters in the game at the beginning.

Hmm, I agree with you to some extent on your comment. This may or may not be the most played race/class in the beginning, but to say because it's the 'all-around character' is a little off; personally, I think if anything it would be aesthetic appeal.

Basically, the Avenger is the balanced class for the Alternix race. As would be the Phantom class for the Alteraver. Simply countering your races weaknesses with a specific classes strengths to enable a balance would work for all the races, theoretically speaking of course.

But yeah, other than that, average speed with a rifle is the only reason I can see the race being over played; and improperly used.

As for the Defense rating, it would fluctuate depending on what armor you were wearing. As I'm assuming that not all armor ratings are going to be the same.

I didn't really think they would end up the "stealthy" race. I thought maybe they would just be quicker moving and harder to hit. In all of the vids I have seen the Alternix were fighting in almost the same way as the alteaver exept they were kind of more... umm, quick I guess...

Who knows if they are the most stealthy i know they will be one of the fastest and perhaps accurate but ahhh well lol....

I think with the armor and the speed, the Alrternix would make a suitable candidate for avenger. You could have fast movement and take a medium amount of hits. If you think about it, the chance that they hit you plus the armor would make you an unstopple force if you play it right. Oh so may possiblities with no specs of the classes or the races.
