Sorry I really cant know for shure I belive they can because in the Desciption it says that they impressed the sapien one's with their fighting against the altearnatives.... but I still am not sure if that means they can hold their own with the syn IF you read the race description it says they have "powers" which can turn the course of a battle along with their dashing good looks.... Hopefully E3 will reveal some more of this information.
