I have a feeling people on the x-box can connect various game periphials (mouses joysticks and such) to the USB ports that the X-Box has. I know I use a usb headset designed for the x-box on my PC so I wouldn't know know why the x-box can't handle pc compatible mice since a x-box is basicly a highly customized PC.
