1) in most cases the keyboard and mouse is better than a controller. This is true.
2) I can be almost as accurate with my controller as I can a mouse. This is true.
3) I can hook up a keyboard and mouse to my xbox, I already have one.
4) I play unreal on pc with a controller and destroy most players.in fact, the only thing I cant do on my controller in unreal is sniping(which I can do fine if im the host). The rest of the time I would say I even have an advantage. Most people who played UC2 will even agree with me here. Controllers have better mobility, but you sacrafice a small bit of accuracy.
End of the discussion is the control setup you use is irrelevant. What will seperate the good and the bad players will not be the controller they use but their skill in the game and the time they put into the game. Use whatever you are better with. That simply amazing guy who uses the mouse and keyboard but only is on once or twice for a hour here and there a week, will not be noticed as much as the Amazing guy who uses a 360 controller but is on every time you are and always kills you. You tend to recognize the names you see a lot as the better or worse players.
If you are good, and you are on a lot. you will be noticed. No one will notice what setup you are using. And if you are having fun, and killing people pulling your own weight, your team mates arent going to care what you are using either.
