Oh and you think youre redneck?
My next doot neighbor owns a quanzit hut. A sortof small airplane hanger. Usually smaller versions are barracks for the military. I had to stay in that with all his auto stuff during the hurricane. No cable but he had plenty of nascar stuff around.

You think that's bad, I had to cross a berm into Iraq with no bathing or changing clothes (don't have an option when you're wearing a chemical suit) for nearly 3 months. When we finally could change, and actually sleep outside the humvee, we lived on a parking lot. Not to mention lack no air conditioning and crud in the middle of summer in the desert amongst far worse conditions But then again, I did raise my hand and swear to uphold the Constitution and live in nasty, crappy places.
(note: This is post has nothing against those who faced Katrina and saw some of the worst Mother Nature has to offer. For those who did, I'm truly sorry for your losses and hardships due to the storm.)
