My referance for this is something done in Planetside where your Cone of Fire is grossly expanded to eliminate in chance of an accurate shot. In other fps games, you don't often see the lack of accuracy, so you end up with "bunny-hopping." Some games make jumping slow you down but that equates to limited "bunny-hopping."
