There's two major flaws with your theory.

One is iiji securing the right to publish the game in the USA.
They're pretty well known for letting hacks run rampant in their games and overall not caring about them one bit. On top of that, they take forever to input patches that the devs of said games give them.

Two is in both of Webzen's currently released games, they are now known throughout the gaming community for putting the games out, releasing a couple of patches to fix a few bugs and add some new content, and then pretty much forgetting about them.

This game will be nothing like WoW.

Blizzard is a company renowned for supporting their games well after release and they have ten times the resources than iiji and Webzen combined. Hell they are STILL patching SC ten years after release.

I'm not worried about this game's quality because I've seen firsthand that aside from some really annoying bugs that I hope are squashed before American beta, it's a really good game.

Knowing iiji and Webzen though, I'm extremely worried about it's longevity and am afraid it will be popular for maybe a month or two, then go into an atrophic state of barely being able to sustain an active population six-seven months down the road and then on.

Now if it becomes F2P with the option of in-game item or skill shops, then it will probably maintain an active playerbase. If that happens though, all bets are off for Webzen and iiji giving any kind of support to it.
