Thanks, new forum member, been watching this game for awhile and finally stuff is coming out about it, cant wait just hope it is Halo 3+COD4+WOW
P.S. Ive heard stuff about the amount of weapons you can carry and what types, like that enforcers can carry snipers and the like and im not super happy with that, how does all this work in general?

I'll answer what I can, but I haven't done any pvp at all. Still working on grinding my way up to 21 so I can do world pvp, if it even lets me in to that. I was delayed because of going on vacation for a week, but I hope to get there and participate in some pvp before the beta ends, which is next Tuesday I believe.
Environment is somewhat destructible, not very much really. Not sure on large scale, but there is definitely some squad/group pve instancing.
I have no real idea how to tell classes apart in town except for guessing what they may be by race and what armor vendor they are standing at. (Heavy-enforcer, medium-avenger, light-phantom). I'm Sapien-Syn and currently it seems like you are forced to be male as One and female as Syn. From what I've seen the One to Syn ratio on my server is something like 5:1. I almost always see the most people at the medium armor shop(avenger) whenever I am in town, so that may be some indication.
While I haven't participated in pvp as I said, based off the pvp videos I've seen and my current knowledge of the game's mechanics. I'd say that invisible sniper camping isn't something you'd have to worry about in this game. Three big reasons for this.
1- Ammo on the sniper rifles are limited. I only have eight rounds on my current rifle before I need to head to an ammo spot. So you have to move from your spot fairly often and then go back to it. Granted yes, you can run over it while cloaked and pick up new ammo and unless somebody(usually an avenger) has infravision activated, you wouldn't be seen.
2-Cloak doesn't last forever, granted it does last a long time if you activate it from a full special bar(something like 35 seconds for me currently). When you fire while cloaked, there's about a 3 second window before you can cloak again.
3-Movement. Things and people move fairly fast. Phantoms can cloak, Avengers can double jump and teleport, Enforcers have their sprint thing and headshot protection(although I'm fairly sure it activates randomly on it's own and you can't control it). So you have to be a really good shot to camp consistently imo.
I believe you can spec into other classes special weapons, but it costs like triple the LP(not sure what that means, I think learning points) than it would for the class it belongs to get it. It already costs a fairly good amount for the class that owns it to pick it up, so I don't think you'll be seeing enforcers with sniper rifles on a constant basis.
As for gatling/chain guns, I don't know if there is a weapon exactly like or close to the mcg. There are normal machine guns that everybody can use, but they aren't all that great. Enforcers do get a flamethrower though.
As for overpowered? The first big thing I see being nerfed are explosive weapons in general, especially grenade launchers and rocket launchers, they do a lot of damage on direct hit and high splash damage.
Based off what I have seen and played with, avengers are probably the op class in the game right now.
I know people will bitch about Phantoms and their cloak, but believe me when I say they need it. Their armor sucks incredibly bad as do their overall close range abilities. They can only get the basic class of grenade launchers which are the current super op close range weapon. Cloak isn't all that great either because infravision is going to be something that a LOT of people will have because it's just so awesome and useful.
I'll try to do a full review/report on this kind of stuff when I have actually participated in pvp, which I hope will be by the end of the week.
