Depends what gun you are using. The gun goes off the DPS style of WOW. So the better the rifle the more dmg no matter where you shoot UNLESS it's a headshot. I have a .50 Caliber rifle with 198 damage per shot and can 1 hit most things. But that's because I upgraded it to Version 3 at the tune up person.
