Well you'll definitely be dieing plenty of times in PvP and even in PvE.
From what it looks like, when you die in PvE you just respawn at a certain location just like other FPS. Same goes for PvP.
It is an MMO, but it looks like it's going to play like other fast pace FPS games like UT and Quake where you can die with minimal consequences and a 5 second respawn timer.
