You start with the weapons that your character has. Since you'll be leveling up your character throughout the game, he/she will keep whatever guns/armor that you buy.

So if you buy a rocket launcher, then you'll be able to use a rocket launcher.

You can only hold 3 weapons at a time, so before you go into battle you chose which 3 you want to take in.

It isn't a predetermined weapon set like in CS or BF2.
