actualy i think there probly will be crafting however you spend points you get in leveling on those rather then on wepons and gear so your charecter at high levels is diverse
so you spend like 5 levels to get basic medical in which you are able to make medical items and use them on yourself and others etc
the system ps uses could have gone far beyond what they used it for...
