Vista is a pain i have Home premium it came default with my Pc that i bought in 07 and it was a pain i played BF2 and suddenly i cant play it due to vistas firewalls blocked punkbuster for o/s privlages and the patch to fix it came out about 8 months after so unless the game you want 2 play allows vista id wait and stay with XP
