There are a few things that the company has to pay for a game like this:
1) server costs (both xbox and pc which have to be different to maintain them)
2) cost to all the guys who are working on this game (which includes the amount they gave over the past couple years while it was being developed)
3) updates
4) maintance on servers
and a few others which arnt that important or i cant think of them

now i dont know the numbers that they get on advertising but im sure its a lot and they have said i read somewhere that they are going to have billards around the citys. Now they want the most money they can get and if they can maintain the game through ads only and not have to give a monthly fee thats great but if they can put in a monthly fee and only lose a few people and gain alot more money then there going to do it and there is nothing you can do about it except for everyone to leave and not play which is not going to happen especially if the fee is 10 which most people who play MMO's are used to and understand it comes with the territory.

There deffinatly not going to go over WOW monthly pay so they can attract some of there customers so im sure it probobly going to be anywhere from 0-12 dollars a month. And there probobly going to do a month free as always or maybe go to 6 months free to get it really popular before incorperating a monthly fee.
