I doubt people will be going AFK in the middle of this game, you probably earn money in kind of a "bounty". Like, you get your money based on how many people you killed and how good they are with like levels compared to you. Of course I am not sure about that, but it does seem like it would fit, I hope that you can't just stand in the back of the battle and gain points or money.
