I prefer to have the game ready on the releaseday, that way I get to play more of a finished product. Betatesting is somewhat glorified within the gaming community. But to be honest, apart from the fact that you can brag about being able to play the game before everyone else and perhaps learn a few things there's not that many advantages really. You get to play against a small amount of players compared to the massive amount after release. You get to play a game that isn't finished and you will often find yourself stuck in walls and/or other objects. The game might die on you, perhaps the servers aswell etc.

Just bring me the game when it's done. I'm staying here with my beer until then. Cheers.
