I loved tha tconcept. Then you had your classes of players. I can planet turrets mines, etc etc to defend, mount a gun, drive a tank, fly a plane, play sniper, ground assault kinda sucked hence the need fo ra new engine, oh yeah, mech type warriors.....gah, /rant

Anyways, is this huxley with everquest / WoW additions to group up and go into "old term" zones to fight NPC mods / bosses?

Great feedback all. I'm liking the thread

And I wonder how one gets into Beta. i'd love to assist. I saw some posts that made me think people were playing in beta.
Beta hasn't started yet, but we'll all be screaming when it does. and of course if we can get in

as for basic gameplay. Yeah it'll have PvP battlefields, PvE battlefields, and battlefields with a mix of PvE and PvP. the PvP battlefields can hold up to 200 players and I don't think anyone knows how many the PvE fields can hold. I don't even know if you need to group up to go into the PvE battlefields, I'm just assuming you will because I assume they'll be mission based and everyone will need to be on the same part of the mission to do it. The PvE battlfields will have NPC mobs to fight and I suppose they'll have bosses too, but I don't think anyone has confirmed bosses being in there, I just figure they'd have it.

As for basic classes that will be in the game, I suggest checking out this main site, Huxleygame.com or any other game site and read the interviews that you can find. They explain anything that anyone knows.

If you need further information than the interviews provide, search around on these forums, I'm pretty sure they're the most active forums by far and we've discussed almost anything you could think of in great depth. The only thing is, most of the stuff we discuss is what we think will be in the game or what we want to be in the game, so the interviews are your best bet to find straight answers for your questions. Any questions you can't find answered in an interview will probably be in these forums and there will probably be a few pages discussing what might happen.

I'm also hoping for a non-stop global war. There is definitely a war in Huxley (the 2 playable sides are fighting for an energy source which I see as a war). We just don't know if there is going to be a persistant world map or something where you take over one battlefield and then have to move up to the next territory and make progress though the world map, eventually taking over all of the battlefields that you can. We do know however that the capital cities that each faction has can't be fought in and therefor can't be taken over, so I think it's safe to say the war won't ever end. Though it'll be a nice victory if any side manages to take over all of the possible zones
