Default Re: Large Scale PvP

Well, I can only speak for my own hopes, being a WOW vet, a GW vet, a Neocron noob and a PS vet, i have to say Huxley does have its work cut out. But honestly i just like the idea of getting some fresh air into the MMO world, Target-locked fighting kills my game. I don't know if anyone agree's with me, but personally i find Huxley should resemble a huge 2k4 ONS map 24/7 with cities as safezones, or even warzones with specific city sectors as safezones. I can't stress enough that the entire reason why I envision huxley as my main hope for MMO's is that it is an FPS first, not an MMO first. When you run an FPS on a ut engine, its gonna feel UT, i pray it feels at least as good as UT. I just want a game that is pretty, is a true skill-testor, not a Gearbased game like most MMO's, WOW, GW, etc, not a multi-front web like PS, not a micromanagement minimalist style graphical anomaly like Neocron, "don't get me wrong, its an art-form it really is, and i like it a lot" BUT, i want a solid, FPS, game, that has skills that improve in your character as a real character would over time. In addition to that i'd like to make a nice small statement. NO. FREAKING. CS. STYLE. CAMPING. "notoriously bad". thankyou.
