Default Re: Stats and abilities

Technically any idiot can walk into a shop and get shotgun, but some classes have to spend more license points to get a certain gun. Say you pick to be a phantom (by the way I'm pretty sure they stated that you pick your race and then your class, so it's safe to say that there will be designated classes, the point is that those classes can be customized a HUGE amount), now the phantom is labled as the sneaky sniper, but you want your phantom to have a shotgun to go with his sniper rifle. You can do this but you would have to spend more license points to get it. The difference being, if you were an enforcer maybe you would only spend 1 license point for the ability to use a shotgun, and if you were a phantom you would have to spend two.

So there will be classes, but as you level your character you will be able to customize him/her into a character that meets your playstlye perfectly.

As to having basic stats that you can put points into or that get upgraded with every level.

Ex: you reach level 6! your stamina increases by 2 and you do 6 more damage with each bullet.

I'm pretty sure there won't be anything like that. Rather, you will gain abilities in the form of sockets on your armor. These abilities are attatched to your armor and let you do things such as: double jump, headshot protection, stealth, to name the few that we know about.

That's pretty much what is known as of now anyway, as you'll see a lot all over these forums is pretty much just the little bit we know and then the rest of how we think it will be or how we hope it will be
