I really don't want to see anything like how Planetside did it in this game.

Gal drops to hit a heavily defend base or get a resecure was a great dynamic of the game. Once it evolved to mass Mossie camping towers or bases to kill everybody outside then finally dropping to cap or resecure the game was ruined imo. Stuff like dropping behind a bunch of infantry otherwise preoccupied and wracking up a bunch of easy kills in the most *bleep* way imaginable also ruined the dynamic.

If they must do the drop/bailing thing(which it's pretty much been all but dev-confirmed they will do). I would like it to be so that the ship either has to land, hover above while the departees rope down or they have parachutes. If somebody bails from a fast-attack aircraft, I would really like to see parachutes or some other sort of slow-fall mechanism instead of gravity simply being bitchslapped into submission and giving somebody a quick ride to their destination. Give the people on the ground or the other aircraft that made them bail a chance to finish the job instead of them just hitting a roof or the ground and running inside to safety.

However, one of the reasons I am still very attracted to this game is because there is two pieces of evidence that show my wishes may be granted.

In the E3 handheld-camera video where classes are being explained, the guy remarks on one of the players bailing from a gunship at like 100 feet and going splat. We don't see it actually on the camera, but the guy presenting the game makes mention of it and you can clearly hear him talk about it over the miscellaneous rabble and chaos of E3. Good enough for me.

In another one of the trailers windows crack and four Ones slide down ropes Delta-style and open fire. They had to come from somewhere and the safest assumption is they came from some sort of dropship. Surely enough soon after you hear a radio crackle and somebody say "Delta One, this is chopper *rest is unintelligible*".

I really hope that is how it pans out, will make the game a lot more fun from a tactical and balance standpoint.
