Hey guys, I just got todays issue of the "Official UK Xbox Magazine" and there was an article about things XBL gamers want to see change and I reworded it a little and posted it here.
- Party Voice Chat - It is so confusing why Microsoft have not included party chat on the dashboard just like the one that was added to the previous Xbox.
- Tweakable Notifications - The pop-up system is great but there should be some kind of settings for this so you can adjust which pop-ups you would like to see so you don’t have to see a message everytime one of your 100 friends signs in.
- A Web Browser - Well not that we need one but we would sure like one, the Playstation 3 has one so that means us Xbox 360 owners want one just so Sony gamers don’t have one over us loyal 360 gamers.
- Customisable Guide Display - People want to make it more simple so it loads faster, nothing worse than having to wait a whole 2 seconds for it to load up.
- Support Our Monitors - Make the Xbox 360 support more of our resoulutions so we don’t have to put up with stretched and letterboxed screens.
- Delete Unwanted Achievements - We all like a little privacy so please let us have some by allowing us to delete achievements or atleast hide them.
- Do Away With The DRM - DRM is “Digital Rights Management” and it causes problems if you want to get a new hard drive because once you have your new hard drive you have to be signed in XBL to use any content.
- Changing Of Live Email Addresses - Why the hell can we not just change our email addresses assosiated with our gamertags, this is simply just annoying.
- Unders 18’s Use Messenger - Why do you need to be 18 to chat on “Windows Live Messenger” with your friends? If you are 17 you can drive a car, drink and smoke but you cannot chat online via text hmm . . .
- Fix the under 18 bug - For some strange reason this has been an issue for ages now but basicaly you cannot use “Live Messenger” if you registered before you were 18 even if you are now older than that.
It really is so true and I think it is a fantastic article hense why I felt the need to post it.
