Strictly speaking, we really don't know much about how exactly the battlefield areas will work or what they'll look like, but they seem to be oriented toward controlling objective points that also push your spawn location forward. Thus, it would
seem just based on that, that it's more benefitial to concentrate your energies on attacking/defending points than spending time elsewhere.
That said, replace "fly behind enemy lines and drop them from like a mile up" with "drop them near a control point away from the front line, that the enemy has neglected to fortify", and you've got yourself an idea
This quasi-brings up the interesting issue of spawn locations and the potential for sending waves of attackers straight for the enemy spawn while 2 guys take and hold a control point. If the devs aren't careful, dropshipping tons of people right next to the enemy spawn locations could end up being (in theory) a ludicrously effective tactic, but we'll just have to wait and see on that one.
