I'm also anxious to see what type of gameplays they will have come up with.

At least we can expect the traditional gametypes:

As far as freeform deathmatch, I think we can expect some sort of Arenas like connnnn mentionned.

In fast paced FPS games, I'd agree. Otherwise, take for instance every game that involves modern weapons and it's mostly an objective gametype (hostages, bombing scenario). Or even Conquest mode for larger FPS (BF2 for instance).
