That's exactly the point of real PvP and the reason FPS is what it is. You never know when you are going to be attacked or hit by some stray rocket, missile or whatever...it's what gives the whole concept the excitement that draws in the crowds.
PvP should
not be restricted by battlefields, zones, etc..., that's just lame. You should be able to attack an enemy, anywhere...at any time. Enemies should be able to organize and try to raid towns, bases, fortifications, etc...that's what it's all about. Maybe you can fight them off, or maybe not...who knows. Just don't transmogrify FPS into the carebear BS that all the mainstream MMORPG's have become.
