The main thing is that everyone knows which server to join - but you're right maybe we could make a separate thread to assist in forum name to in-game character name conversion, but so long as everyone goes to the same server then who is who can be sorted out.
or... instead of a thread we could put an entire section of this forum that list everyones character names in alphabitical order of thier forum names, by using a field in thier forum profiles where they fill in thier character name and pick server name from a drop-down menu, and whatever servers we pick as a main server(s) for this community it will be highlighted in gold when they see it in the drop-down menu.
