What I am saying is that if it was like you say with being able to blow through any wall and such then what is the point of even going into close range when you can devastate your opponents from afar with long range..wall piecing, xray weaponary? If you look at the first two movies of the game it is rather controlled IE tactical (I do think that is a very good term for the style of gameplay I am speaking off..Kudos)
Also, the actual game play of the ingame seemed more between a BF2/2142 and planetside speed. Now one thing I would ask you is this. With UT what is more perferred..faster reactions or sound tactics. In general war sound tactics should win out of faster reactions where as a run and gun type of stance will draw a major void between classes and players in a group of individuals in the field.
