As for lenson, go read one of the articles about how the class system will work. Half of that article is wrong and the other half is guesswork.
Anybody can train and use any weapon, no matter the class, no matter the race. The one exception, the lighter races won't be able to use the heaviest weapons, and if they change and allow it, they won't be able to use them well.

You were correct in the assumption that I had not read all the available material. I have looked at it now and I still don't see were you get your assumption that anybody will be able to pick up and use weapons they have not spent the license points on. It looks to me that you will be able to pick up any weapon you like but equipping it (pulling it out of your inventory and using it) on the other hand, would require the license for that particular weapons group...or so it seems to me.
