You may also like to consider that a monthly subscription game will find it considerably easier to police its players because they all have to use a credit card linked to their account, as soon as they are reported the 24 hour customer services are able to check the live server or server logs, or monitor a particular account the player is attached to for suspicious activity and then ban them and their credit card.

There will be some hacking but it will be small scale as its so easy to stamp on it in an MMOFPS environment. Planetside was more or less hack free until they allowed free account sign ups and its become a bigger problem, purely because there is no credit card number to ban or cost to register the game.
