proboly NPC mobs. They could be alot of fun, imagine fighting inside a base and having them start attacking, it would mix things up alot and make for a good change of pace, along with the ability to use them to a degree.
Ex: Withdraw your troops and let the mobs kill off some of the enemy, or use them as a distraction.
