But if they knew more they'd know that Bullock's character Lenina Huxley was named after Lenina Crowne in Brave New World. The setting in a futuristic utopian society is the give away. And the fact that Stallone's character is called John, same name as the savage in BNW. At one point Bullock even says "John, you're a savage", which may or may not be a fairly pointed reference depending on how obvious you like 'em.
