Okay so it looks like whatever loadout that particular guy had was starting with 400 armor, and it's clear that there's a short delay after getting hit, then the armor starts goig back up rather quickly. I guess this will minimize long standoffs of taking cover, etc. This also means that recharging your health via inventory or pickups or whatever is probably not going to be all that important. It looks like they are taking the "Protoss" approach.

It looked like a direct rocket hit did around 150 damage or so to the armor. He laster got hit with a sniper round that looked like it took off almost 200 armor AND 30-ish health. The gun that reminds me of q2's hyperblaster seems to do a decent amount of damage as well. It looks like you'll be able to take someone down relatively quickly... with 3 or 4 well-placed rockets, or a few sniper shots (wonder if there will be headshots).

And it definitely looked like there was a persistent ammo pickup. It didn't disappear when they passed over it, so it's almost like an instant (?) recharge point. I guess you can think of it as a place to control. It almost looked like it could be ammo for a certain gun (it kinda looked more like a rockets ammo pickup than a "weapon locker" style thing), but who knows... a general ammo spot would make more sense.

The only problem I see is the chat that takes up the entire screen. That I'm sure they realize will not work... and if not, they would/will definitely hear about it during beta testing anyways. Nobody likes to have chat be that intrusive.
