Isnt this conversation a bit redundant now that the developers have stated at E3 that the console players and pc players may be on the same server but they cant fight each other? (which seems a bit pointless to me).
For the record i play both and enjoy playing both, the newer style fps games on consoles are starting to implement "over the shoulder" views (Ghost Recon 3, Gears Of War) wich is a huge improvement because it plays to the controllers strengths. Whilst that makes them not FPS games, it does give a new way to play them on consoles.
Mouse & Keyboard is obviously a much better way to play a pure FPS game, you cant get the speed & accuracy that a mouse offers with a controller (or the level of customisation).
I am surprsed though that none of the new console controllers have incorporated a trackball, you'd think that would solve a lot of their restrictions and open up new game types to them.
