If you ask me, I agree that snipers that can kill to the extent that one shot from 400 miles away would be the shit, however you have to think about this. Its the year 4000ish...there is a new resource called 'Lunerites'...four new races....I mean, what kind of weapon shoots green light bullets? Unrealistic, yup.
However, I do believe that there should be sufficent reasons to take or add the infamous "sniper" rifle. Its cheap, but hay, so are Wall-hackers.
Reasons for:
- Its the sniper, every FPS has a sniper!!
- Not everyone is good for the "up-close-hack-n-slash" tactic
- Hit and Run is good and dirty
- It kills
- What are n00bs gonna use?!?!
Reasons against:
- Its the sniper!! snipers = dead grunt piles
- "omgwtfbbq!1!! n0bz!1! I pr0z, diyz n00biez"
- One shot, would seem unrealistic to die from a shot in the leg...
- Unfair for the fair players
- What are pros gonna use?!?!
Yeah. Thats just my opinion on snipers being one shot kill.
